Maybe Its Reno features Bridget Cross, formerly of Unrest (oh Isabel) and Velocity Girl, bands lost to time but stuck forever in the amber of indie memory. And as “Gravestones and Christmas Trees” shows, Ms. Cross isn’t exactly slumming with Reno, which includes several of her Unrest bandmates. More proof that a great beat and breathy vocals never get old… (See also The Sundays).
