In Waves sound like the bastard child of Curve and the Cure, sometimes propulsive, sometimes moody, but always a downbeat away from folding into themselves. Their tracks are a bit rough at the moment — they’re all demos — but there’s real promise here. In Waves have a full-length album out this summer.
