Not many bands that come out of Seattle have let me down. Continuing on that trend would be The Kindness Kind. Being partial to the chic singers, Alessandra Rose is nothing short of a Bjork to these ears. She has a voice that draws you in. Not so much Indie rock mind you. A garage band they are definitely not. Indie pop, alternative with a hint of electronic edge? Name them what you will, but the truth is that The Kindness Kind are everything all at once. If you’re heading out to SXSW this year, make sure you look for them, they usually make an appearance and will be well worth your time to fight the crowds to catch a listen to a tune or two.
