Hey Champ

Chicago must be a hotbed of electro-pop/clash bands. Following in the footsteps of Walter Meego, Hey Champ gets my vote for the Windy City’s catchiest act. ‘Cold Dust Girl’ sports bumping dance beats and a synth-bass line that will have you moving - perhaps against your will - in seconds flat. By the time the vocals erupt, you won’t know what hit you. Electro-dance (if that’s what this is) has never sounded so great. ‘Face Control’ is also destined to be a dance floor classic, with hints of early 80’s synth pop and an equally impressive beat.
Saam, Pete and Jon should be tearing up the clubs (indie and otherwise), soon bringing their own style of electro-pop music to the scene. Check them out in a town near you - or at Lollapalooze in Chicago - and expect to shake the night away.

What? These are programmed beats…how do you get tighter than that? This is pop genius.
