The Sunray Estate

posted by Tina on June 30, 2009

Let me introduce you to a brand new indie pop band. Music fans, meet…The Sunray Estate. I don’t usually go for the electronics and computer creations of music these days but this band sounds absolutely amazing to me. There are layers upon layers of different vibes to their music and yet you’ll never get lost. I promise you, you’ll be able to keep up with every note and every chord. It’s just that good. The Sunray Estate is mostly made up of Jez Thomas these days but he’s been known to have several others come and go. I think that’s one of the things I like about this band. The music sticks to this eclectic sound. But the vocals vary with a different person in a few songs. Where the hell did this band come out of? Like where are they from? Cockermouth, Cumbria. Which is a burrough in England. If you don’t believe me, look it up. I did. The Sunray Estate is actually an area of land that was built in England in the early 1920′s. Why they chose the name…I don’t exactly know but I’m sure it has some significance to the band to the person who created this catchy music.
