Uh Huh Her takes me back. Straight to the 80′s, no return trip. Lost are the sounds of bands like The Cure, The Darlingbuds, Siouxie and the Banshees. Uh Huh Her revives some piece of that sound and I love it. Provocative lyrics combined with seductive voices makes for a good combination. Originally a three piece Uh HUH Her now consists of two amazing women that go by the names of Leisha Hailey and Camila Grey. Pairing of an actress/musician and musician/producer how could you possibly go wrong? Their LP “Explode” will get you in the mood for whatever it is you’re in the mood for. I could listen to it over and over again and contemplate life and where I’m at. It just has that effect. Out of LA….Leisha and Camila have found talent that compliments one another and they know it. I’d keep your eyes and ears open for when they come to your town. You wouldn’t want to miss them live.
