Everything Everything are a Manchester based band who made quite a buzz at the start of 09 here in the UK with the single ‘Photoshop Handsome’. A cacophony of multi layered instruments and vocals which really shouldn’t work but does, ‘Photoshop Handsome’ draws you in and compels you to listen. The odd yet seemingly non-existent structure of the tracks means you have no idea what’s coming next.
They’re now back with latest single ‘My Keys’ Your Boyfriend’. Still featuring the same vocal harmonies and choppy drums the track gives more of a standard verse-chorus-verse structure but still manages to keep you hooked.
Brilliant, yet very different remixes from the likes of Portmanteau and fellow Manchester based band Delphic ensure the track will reach the bands widest audience to date and will hopefully go some way to creating a lot more Everything Everything fans.
‘My Keys, Your Boyfriend’ is available now via iTunes and as a 7″ vinyl with only 500 limited edition copies available.
