She Wants Revenge. No not me. She. Well maybe me. The San Fernando, California duo. Justin Warfield. Adam Bravin. I eat my own heart out when I see them live. Warfield is absolutely mesmerizing on stage, his voice reverb soaked, his dance moves intoxicating, his signature hat obscuring enough detail to give him that Je ne sais qua. Dance with me. Please. Now. Several fans do attempt a little groove, but they are removed from the stage. I can’t really blame them for trying. Joy Division. The Cure. Interpol. Yes, we hear them all amidst a danceable electronic cloud.
She Wants Revenge has released two full-length albums, the last in 2007, and several EPs. Another full-length is in the works, but to hold us over, they released the Up and Down EP just this past September. “A Little Bit Harder” comes from that EP. A little bit dance. A little bit 80s. A little bit electronic. A little bit distortion. A little bit get-down. All She Wants Revenge.
