Gliss

Far from gone are the days when you hear a great band at a great venue that puts you in the ultimate mood to dance. And it’s not even an 80’s band. If you liked Uh Huh Her, or The Ravonettes then it would behoove you to check out Gliss. Is this what the kids call shoegaze? Is it Experimental? Alternative? You decide. I’m comfortable with the following labels, at least: alluring, catchy, seductive, and Kick-Ass Indie Rock. You won’t be able to avoid moving your body when you hear them and will wonder why you’re sitting at the bar, drinking your gin & tonic, when you should be out on the dance floor. And if wherever your at is playing Gliss, you can be sure the place has a space to move. If not, make your own.
Gliss is touring the UK now but be sure to keep an eye in this trio, for they may be in your town before you know it. Stick to small bands at the small venues before they go big and you’ll be able to say you heard them here first.
