Not much is currently known about Summer Camp, where they’re from, who exactly they are and how they’ve managed to spring up with such a great collection of songs. The lack of press and PR around these guys makes their music sound even more genuine and somewhat mystical. Ghost Train is a tranquil and melodic song which ponders along perfectly. The track makes you feel nostalgic, it takes you back to those days in the Summer when you were off school and didn’t have a care in the world.
For now I’m happy just listening to Summer Camp’s music and taking them for the carefree tracks they are. However no doubt with more and more anticipation these guys will be put on a pedestal, hopefully it’ll be one they can reach and carry on in a similar way from.
