The Bloodsugars
Talk about a band to listen to that will put you in a good mood, The Bloodsugars are it. In my search and recommendations for new music, a friend suggested The Bloodsugars. I took one listen and I was hooked and you will be too. Not every cool band you haven’t heard about comes out of New York, but these guys too. So I feel fortunate enough to be able to check them out live on more than one occasion. Each band member brings something different to the table. A little bit of Jazz, a little bit of Pop, a little Indie punk and then some. Put them all together and add introspective lyrics and you have a sound unique unto their own. The band tends to go for that something that will pick you up when your feeling down. Because let’s face it, we all turn to music for that exact reason at some point. The Bloodsugars just released a new album this past November called I Can’t Go On, I’ll Go On and are touring the New York, New Jersey area in the next few months. I have no doubt these guys will get requests to come to your town once you take a listen.
