Dylan Leblanc

posted by Tina on November 1, 2010

I think I’ve kept this singer songwriter to myself long enough. Now it’s time for me to pass on this young’uns voice to my devoted Indieball fans. You are devoted to Indieball right? If you’ve been following us for awhile you’ve gotten to know each of our writers taste and by now you may have your favorite writers. I know I do. Nowadays I tend to stick with Americana or Indie folk type music lately. It just happens to be what does it for me these days. I came across Dylan LeBlanc when I was at a “Pronto” show a few months ago. LeBlanc has a voice that is not just soothing and wonderful to listen to, but he also has this palliative effect of getting right to where the music needs to go. His lyrics will hit you deep and hard. Add a southern accent, as this young singer-songwriter is from Shreveport, Louisiana. Or you can say he’s from Mussel Shoals because that’s just fun to say. And wait for it…that’s right…steel guitar, one of my favorite musical instruments. I predict great things for Dylan in the near future and can see him opening up for big acts before we know it. And as always, you can say you heard him here on Indieball first.
