I realize that this review is already somewhat redundant given our recent coverage of Washed Out, but you should actually see it as supplementary because of the way that the two bands complement each other. Get ready for more of that “lazy afternoon” music. I adore this remix of Despicable Dogs by Washed Out, and Photojournalist is also great, although both are possibly lacking on the originality front. But this doesn’t bother me. In fact, I quite like the implications.
