Imagine a nerd like me, corresponding with and getting unreleased music from a super-cool, up-and-coming band. The concept is unfathomable! When I heard Frends’s single, “Modern Times,” I was instantly hooked. I play bass, which means I’m partial to any band that utilizes the instrument’s sound and assets. So when Frends opened “Modern Times” with a fresh bass lick, I fell in love. As I listened further, I heard the stunning vocals and basically passed out. The record’s vocals, guitar, drums, and bass are all unique; Frends is an excellent band. But as I scoured the Internet, I realized they hadn’t released a CD or any other downloads. I couldn’t stand for this! Immediately, I contacted the band, craving more songs, hoping to share them with all of you! Much to my amazement, the band wrote back, and they were happy to send me more songs from their upcoming album. Thanks, Frends! The songs I leave for you today are two of the four I’ve been enjoying. It was extremely difficult to choose my two favorites; I literally love every one. Keep a close eye for their CD release and future concerts!

Im not in the band..but im totally in the “oh ohh’s” of modern times..haha i know your impressed…lol
these guys are great..follow them on facebook, myspace, n everywhere else….trust me….you DO want to see them live!
