If there was ever a band that could instantly make a person fall in love with Indie Folk music, The Cave Singers would be that band. One listen and great artists such as Arlo Guthrie, Bob Dylan or Jim Croce and other music from the ’70s come to mind. Now..never in a million years did I think I would someday fall victim to this type of music. And now here I am searching for music that sounds like The Cave Singers each and every time I peruse the many multiple music websites upon this great thing we call the Internet. I seriously just cannot get enough. Imagine my excitement when I decided to see what all the hype was about this band whose name I kept hearing over and over again. The Cave Singers. Live it. Love it. Listen to it when you get ready for work in the morning, when you come home in the evening and definitely somewhere in between. Singer Pete Quirk’s voice might be considered a bit nasally to some but to me it’s melodic. I think there’s a little bit of folk (Indie Folk mind you) in all of us. You just have to bring it out. The Cave Singers will do that for you. Give them a listen and I swear like me, you’ll be searching for more. I don’t plan on missing these guys when they hit my town in March. I know that after all our Indieball fans take a listen, you won’t either. This trio out of Seattle, WA will definitely bring something different to your music library..
